Heather Holmes

Founder & CEO

Heather leads the vision for Genivity and focuses on product design, business development, and fundraising. She brings a decade of sales, marketing and market development experience to Genivity from her time in the medical device industry working for Medtronic & Abbott Vascular.

Heesh Naim

Technical Advisor

Heesh leads the technology and artificial intelligence strategy for Genivity. He is an experienced technologist who has scaled businesses large and small; a business-minded innovator, who is armed with both high-level and hands-on experience in the latest technologies. He has a Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering and a Master’s in Computer Science from University of Illinois Urbana Champaign.

Graham Thomas

Sales Consultant

Graham is a consultive sales professional with excellent relationship skills, strong work ethic, a competitive streak and a positive attitude. He’s passionate about sales, especially when the product helps companies improve their process. Graham has been a sales consultant for enterprise services for more nearly two decades.

Fabrice Braunrot

Sales + Marketing

Fabrice retired as a Vice Chairman after 34 years at JPMorgan, working in the firm’s commercial, investment and private banking divisions in London, New York and (since 1994) Chicago. He worked with wealthy families and business owners, helping with asset management, family governance and estate planning matters.

Fabrice has a strong interest in health-span matters (nutrition, exercise, cognitive well-being). He describes his guiding health and wellness principles in a TEDx talk he gave in 2018.

Fabrice serves on the Advisory Council of the Osher Center for Integrative Medicine, Northwestern Medicine. He serves on the advisory board of Spiral Sun Ventures, a fund group making early stage investments in health and wellness based consumer products. He serves on the advisory board of Tensility Venture Partners, who manage funds making early stage investments in companies in the artificial intelligence and predictive analytics arena.

He has a BA and MA in Modern History from Oxford University.

Dominic Wassef

Full-Stack Developer

Dominic Wassef comes to Genivity with experience from two previous start-ups. During his time there, he lead full-stack development for both applications and cloud architecture. Business-minded with a focused commitment to delivering high-level technology to start-ups. He graduated with a Bachelor’s in Computer Science from the University of Florida.

Emily Chang, PhD

Scientific Advisor & Co-Founder

Emily earned her PhD in physical chemistry from Stanford University, where she also conducted postdoctoral research in population genetics. With a passion for healthcare, she then joined the content team at 23andMe, a personal genetics company. Emily’s lab is now Genivity, where she creates models for protecting disease risk, analyzes data and develops accessible ways for families to manage health data.

Ashley Flitter

Product Manager

Ashley’s decade of experience in usability and technical project management is key to our product development. She has successfully managed large technical development teams and coordinated FDA and ISO certifications for a medical device organization. Ashley received her MA in Technical Communication from Minnesota State University.

Vikas Tanksale

Customer Success Manager

Vikas leads solutions training & development for Genivity. He is passionate and committed to building and maintaining exceptional client relationships. He has effectively delivered solutions in both the Healthcare and Fintech industries.

John Lawrence

Advisor

John is active as an investor and advisor in the Chicago startup community through JOLA Capital Advisors, LLC, where he has served as President and Managing Member since 2016.  In addition to working with emerging growth companies, John – through JOLA Capital – also provides advisory services to hedge funds, private equity firms and healthcare services companies and providers.  John also has significant M&A experience having served as General Counsel of a healthcare services company for over 18 years, during which time John was responsible for structuring, negotiating and closing over 100 transactions.   

John was one of the original employees of NovaMed, Inc., a healthcare services company that successfully consolidated physician practices and outpatient surgical facilities in 20 states.  John served as NovaMed’s General Counsel during its growth from a start-up in 1996, to its initial public offering in 1999 (Nasdaq: NOVA) and ultimately its sale in a going private transaction to HIG Capital in 2011 when it merged into one of HIG Capital’s existing portfolio companies, Surgery Partners.  

John has a B.A. in Economics from the University of Michigan and a law degree from Washington University in St. Louis.  John resides in Chicago with his wife and three children.
